All students are supported in acquring a wide range of grammatical structures and relevant vocabulary.
A Level Modern Foreign Languages
A LEVEL FRENCH AND SPANISH
French and Spanish all follow the AQA syllabus.
Topics covered are:
- aspects of the society of the target-language speaking countries: current trends and issues
- aspects of political life in the French or Spanish speaking world
- artistic culture in the target-language countries.
In addition, all students study a novel and a film.
Assessment
The content is taught over two years. At the end of A2, students sit three different papers:
