UPDATE - 29th November 2021
We have continued to seek clarification and advice from the DfE and Public Health England and whilst Covid-19 cases are still prevalent in Lewisham, I wanted to reassure you that we have not been asked to create or close any year group bubbles. Our advice is that students should continue weekly home testing to help spot and prevent the spread of the virus. As a result of the weekly home testing, we have been able to identify those who have no symptoms but may still test positive. The increased testing has helped and will continue to reduce further risk. There has been a small amount of positive cases of Covid-19 within the College and we are keeping in touch with those who are direct contacts or those who are affected and are clinically extremely vulnerable.
If families or staff wish to order more home kits, please click here.
We are advising all students and staff to wear face coverings in crowded, busy or communal areas. Students and staff may wish to wear them routinely. Any staff or students who are exempt from wearing face coverings due to a medical or other reason, are not required to wear them. Children will be asked to wear a badge or have a pass, if they are exempt to best support them.
