Welcome to the Sixth Form at Haberdashers’ Hatcham College where we truly believe that all young people have the right to an excellent education and that everyone can achieve their potential.

Hatcham Sixth Form encourages applications from both internal and external students. We offer a wide range of courses, most of which are A Levels, so that every student experiences a strongly academic education with student progress and achievement at the heart of our values. We are committed to delivering personalised pathways and destinations for all, with our student body consistently being offered the largest number of Russell Group and Oxbridge places of any South East London school and an increasing number of students opting to take up the best apprenticeships and school leaver programmes in the country. 

We pride ourselves on our award-winning career and higher education guidance and the unique opportunities students can access via our substantial links with the Haberdashers' livery company.  We value all pathways and are proud of the diversity and achievements of our students, alumni and staff. 

Our recent A Level exam results – our first sat since before the pandemic – demonstrate the strength of our teaching and learning, and the commitment of our students. 48% - almost half of all grades awarded – were A*-B, whilst almost two-thirds of grades (71%) were graded A*-C. They have enabled students to go onto a wide-range of universities, including 16 of the UK’s 24 most prestigious Russell Group institutions. Other pathways pursued included hair and beauty, acting and internships at some of the country’s most respected accountancy firms.
