Haberdashers' Hatcham College Sixth Form Students Celebrate Outstanding Results
Students at Hatcham College Sixth Form are celebrating today after receiving their final A Level and vocational results, with many heading off to top universities, high-level apprenticeships, and exciting employment opportunities.
This year, more students than ever are taking up highly competitive degree-level apprenticeships in engineering, finance and tech.
Among the success stories is Ti-Jean Martin who achieved A*A*B and will be studying History at Oxford University. He said:
I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved – the support from Hatcham College and the fantastic teaching I have received in History. I always felt encouraged to aim high.
Alex Johnston-Collier who achieved AAA and will be studying Earth Sciences at Oxford University said:
I worked so hard, today it has all paid off – I feel so grateful for how supportive my teachers have been throughout my time at Hatcham College.
Head of Sixth Form, Hannah Kennedy said:
We are delighted with this year’s outcomes. Our students have worked incredibly hard and have consistently shown great character and resilience. Their achievements reflect both their dedication and the support of our staff.
Executive Principal, Katie Scott said:
We are exceptionally proud of all of our young people and the results they have achieved. They represent their hard work, and the support provided by staff and families. Watching them open their results and learn of where they be spending the next few years of their life is what makes our jobs so rewarding.
A huge part of the well-rounded success of students at Hatcham College is the vast personal development programme on offer. From September 2025, all Sixth Form students will be offered an industry mentor through the support of the Trust-led Habs Aspire progamme. Year 12 students are exposed to a weekly programme of personal development where they can access careers talks, an elective curriculum that includes Driving Theory lessons, the Livery Awards (Business Entrepreneurship Competition, Debating, Sport, Intro to Latin, Intro to DJ-ing and much more). We run the Extended Project Qualification and support access to studying a community language. We also run an Oxbridge Access Programme run by our dedicated Oxbridge/UCAS tutor.
For anyone interested in considering Hatcham College next year please attend our Sixth Form Open Morning on Saturday 29 November 2025 from 10am - 12.30pm – more details regarding applications can be found here on our Admissions pages.
