As part of the National Poetry Day celebrations the Library invited poet Matthew Wyatt to the school to deliver workshops at lunchtime at the Jerningham Site. The children were enthralled and inspired to write some hilarious and utterly original pieces. Matthew also attended Ms King's A Level English class, where he was able to motivate the year 12s to write and recite love poetry with amazing results.
