WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATIONS

We celebrated World Book Day with a fantastic Book Swap Event... a great chance to find a new book and get rid of one you don't like anymore!  Books galore were brought in and the kids had great fun!  The students contributed to the Share a Story theme by each writing a line to a story.  The result was the usual surreal writing you would expect from some highly imaginative and original thinkers. Each child was given a book day token to get money off more books.  Reading for pleasure will always be a priority of the Library - children who read, succeed!  Long live World Book Day.
