ABOUT INNOVATE CATERING

We are excited to introduce Innovate, our catering team at Hatcham College. Renowned for providing fresh, high-quality food to schools, Innovate is committed to delivering nutritious and delicious meals.

Our aim, along with the school’s, is to provide all students with an exceptional catering experience. Our talented Executive Chefs and fantastic catering teams will be serving exciting menus packed with healthy ingredients, full of variety, and with loads of interesting new things to try. All dishes are prepared daily using quality, fresh, and seasonal ingredients. With a huge selection of 'grab and go' items, a variety of tasty main meals, and our globally inspired Street Vibes range, there’s always something new to try.

How to pay

Hatcham College is using ParentPay to top up School Meals.

You can top up on your child's ParentPay account when needed as well as see what they are spending on their account. 

Free School Meals

In these uncertain times we are aware that changes to employment and benefits can have a huge negative impact. 

In order for your child to receive FSM, you must apply online here Online FSM Application using the guardian's National Insurance number. The system notifies the school and guardian automatically when a child is eligible.  You will only need to complete the form once, and if in the future your circumstances change making your child entitled to support, we will automatically be notified. In addition to the provision of Free School Meals the Government also provide funding which can make a real difference to the lives of our children, all from completing a form in just a few minutes.

Please note that this is an independent secure system and the school does not have access to any information that is entered into it.

Breakfast

Our school offers free porridge in the morning from 8am to 8.25am.

Any additional breakfast items can be purchased if students have funds on their ParentPay account. 

Break Time Snack

Caterers provide students with the option to purchase a light snack. 

This is served from 10.40am until 11.00am. 

Lunch

A meal deal costs £2.65 and consists of the meal of the day and a dessert.

We encourage you to use ParentPay, which allows you to pay for school meals in advance. 

FSM students will be able to purchase a meal deal or anything up to the value of £2.65 at lunch time (extra items at breakfast, lunch or break time snacks can be purchased if students have additional funds on their ParentPay account).
