Secondary School Day Summary

- The Academy’s learning day begins at 8.30am, and ends at 3.05pm.
- Registration is conducted using ARBOR and gives an accurate indication of attendance, punctuality and absence.
- Pupils are expected to arrive at school in plenty of time – the morning bell will ring at 8.28am, with gates closing at 8.30am
- All students have a 25 minute registration period.
- Students have a 25 minute break and 50 minute lunch each day.
- Lessons occur throughout the school day lasting either 50 minutes (single) or 100 minutes (double)
- Enrichment and house activities occur on most days after school and school activities finish at 5.00pm unless prior notice is given otherwise.
