Hatcham College Sixth Form Subject Options
Sixth Form is a transitional stage between compulsory education and life in employment, higher education or training. You are therefore expected to take far more responsibility for your own learning than in Year 11. In the Hatcham College Sixth Form, we expect a high standard of conduct and a professional appearance, and looks for the development of good working relationships with tutors and teaching staff.
The aim of the sixth form is :
- To encourage scholarliness and independent study skills
- To foster leadership characteristics in our students
- To ensure all students have access to enrichment and super-curricular opportunities for the purpose of building their competitive edge
- To prepare our students for their next steps beyond post-16 education whether it be a place at university or an apprenticeship
